Wedding Music at Sant Ffraed House

Autumn sunshine, a clear blue sky and an elegant manor house set in beautiful grounds – what more could you want for an October wedding in South Wales? I was so excited to play for Fran and Tom’s wedding at Sant Ffraed House in Abergavenny and you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

Sant Ffraed House is a beautiful, elegant venue with a sophisticated wedding ceremony room situated in the main house. The venue had recently added a brand new digital baby grand piano to the ceremony room, and I was excited to be the first to play it for a wedding ceremony! Fran and Tom chose some beautiful ceremony music, and I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the house as Fran made her bridal entrance.

Following the ceremony, the guests made their way outside to enjoy the sunshine and photos, and I relocated to the K Room, which is separate from the main house and is where the wedding breakfast is held. With its circular glass frontage the building is striking both inside and out, and allows beautiful views of the grounds.

I was thrilled to be able to showcase our mini grand piano shell for the first time, and once set up it looked as if it was a permanent feature, complementing the decor perfectly. The portable grand piano shell allows the look of a grand piano in any location, and it really added to the sophisticated wedding look that the Oldwalls Collection captures so well!

The day was superbly organised by the staff, who were so helpful, even giving me a hand with all of my equipment – I was so impressed! It’s a wonderful wedding venue and a real asset to the South Wales wedding industry.
