A Stunning St Tewdrics House Wedding Breakfast

Nestled in the heart of Chepstow, St Tewdrics House is a breathtakingly beautiful wedding venue that offers the perfect blend of historic charm and modern elegance. With its sweeping driveway, picturesque grounds, and light-filled interiors, it’s no wonder couples fall in love with it at first sight. I had the pleasure of performing during a stylish black-and-white-themed wedding breakfast here, and it was truly unforgettable.

A Grand Piano That Fit the Theme

For this wedding, the couple had chosen a chic black-and-white theme, and our black grand piano blended seamlessly with the décor. Set up in the airy dining space, the piano added a touch of elegance and was the perfect complement to the monochrome styling.

A Personalised Setlist for a Unique Celebration

The couple requested an exciting mix of modern R&B hits for their wedding breakfast, including:

  • Luv – Tory Lanez
  • God’s Plan – Drake
  • Forever – Chris Brown
  • Let’s Get Married – Jagged Edge

These choices created a lively, upbeat atmosphere, perfectly setting the tone for their celebration. They also selected their favourites from my repertoire to round out the setlist and made one key request: no Disney songs and nothing too slow! I always ask couples if there are songs or styles they’d like me to avoid, as it ensures the music matches their vision and avoids any unwelcome surprises.

The couple’s grand entrance was to Drake’s Best I Ever Had played over the sound system, and I followed up by transitioning seamlessly into live piano music, keeping the vibe just right.

A Memorable Celebration at this st tewdrics house wedding

The staff at St Tewdrics House were amazing, helping me carry the piano in and out of the venue and ensuring everything ran smoothly. I waited until the speeches had finished before packing away to avoid disrupting the guests, giving me a chance to hear the touching and funny stories shared about the couple. It’s always a joy to witness these heartfelt moments and feel part of such a special day.

I also had the pleasure of working alongside the talented Tom Curno Photography, whose stunning images beautifully captured the heart and soul of the day’s celebration.
