Our Pianists
rhiannon
Rhiannon is classically trained but loves to play music across all genres.
Originally from Berkshire, Rhiannon studied music at Oxford and Birmingham universities, specialising in piano performance. Over the years she has performed as a soloist and accompanist in a range of settings, including orchestral, choral, and television – highlights include performing as part of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra’s Debussy Festival, and acting as a rehearsal pianist for the Channel 4 programme ‘The Piano’. She was also previously awarded First Prize in the Helen Peet Concerto Cup competition, playing Grieg’s piano concerto.
Rhiannon has been lucky enough to perform in venues across the UK and further afield, such as Symphony Hall, Cadogan Hall, and St Mark’s Basilica in Venice. Alongside performing, she is passionate about music education and teaches both privately and in schools across London. Rhiannon is also interested in music history, and regularly writes programme notes for some of the UK’s top orchestras. Although classically-trained, she loves playing music across all genres and always enjoys learning new requests.

The moment When the couple are announced as officially married. The joy and smiles on everyone’s faces never fails to make me smile too.
‘Annie’s Song’ by John Denver is one of my all-time favourite songs, and it works beautifully on the piano. I would love to have it played at my own wedding one day.
